Although there is no GUI option to do it, adding a custom background to the logon desktop, including the desktop displayed when the computer is locked, is a straightforward process of adding a few registry entries. Previous versions of Windows offered some level of customization of the logon screen, and Windows 7 is no exception. Over the next few weeks, we’ll post more details about how we give our images a Georgetown look-and-feel.
